Vanessa Mason
“Throne Room” By Kim Walker-Smith

I am a sophomore at Inola High School and have been at Inola schools since my pre-k year, and I enjoy reading and attending church and my hobbies include writing, painting, and crocheting. I love helping others and aspire to be an author and artist. I play soccer at Inola High School, and I go to First Baptist Inola on Wednesdays. Apart from First Baptist Inola, I attend Reach Church in Sand Springs, which I have gone to since I was a baby. I have accomplished many things here in Inola, including having had a short story of mine published through the Talon Literary Journal. My favorite subjects in school are Art and Creative Writing/English. I have a ton of family members, many of which attend school here in Inola. I have one sibling, a sister who is twelve years older than me that also went to Inola High School. She now lives in Australia with her husband, Tyler, and is a nanny. I have three cats, Willow, Java, and Beans, and I have one dog, a tuxedo Chihuahua named Ali. Outside of school I enjoy drawing and crocheting, both of which I have improved upon greatly in the past few years.
