Did you see the new longhorn statue? If not, it is located right in front of the high school office.
Assistant Principal, Mrs. Ellis said “It’s pretty cool, although I’m afraid I think other schools may vandalize it before games.” Hopefully students will be deterred of any mischievous behavior with all the extra eyes on the new statue.
The bovine beast is a neat addition to our school and helps shows school spirt, but it is missing something: a name. Students have been invited to take part in giving the statue a fitting name. All students can submit a name in their English class, and then Mr. G will choose the name he thinks fits the best.
When asked what he thought of the statue, Mr. G said “I feel like it’s a good way to symbolize our school.”
