The Inola Longhorns Volleyball team has had a pretty good season so far with a solid record of 16-11 and a deserving ranking of 6th in the class of 4A and impressive wins against Oklahoma Union and Verdigris.
Head coach Tyler Swope said it best “The girls show up. They work hard every day. They play as a team. So we’re pretty pumped for things to come.”  The Longhorns have a pretty tough stretch of games coming up with teams of the likes of Collinsville (5A), North Rock Creek (4A, #13), Skiatook (4A, #16), Berryhill (4A), and end the season off going against Claremore (5A, #4). The Longhorns also go against their rivals Catoosa for the third time this season which has so far been the Longhorn Show, with the Longhorns sweeping them both times this season.
As Brooke Walker said “The team was hyped to win the game against Catoosa not only for them but for Coach Swope.” Swope has only beat the Indians twice in his entire coaching career and both of the wins have come from this season alone so the Longhorns have really been playing their hearts out this season.
