Inola Wrestling to State

on the mats & in the books

Five Inola High School wrestlers are headed to state. Grant Floyd, Jose Flores, Dalton Diacon, Jedd Barrett and Kinley Harris.
Grant Floyd is a freshmen who wrestles at 113. Grant had an outstanding season. He was the number one seed is his region, placing third in his region good enough to qualify for state. Jose Flores, just a sophomore, wrestles at 138 and was the number one overall seed in his region. Plus, he also and finished first in regionals. Jedd Barrett, also a sophomore, wrestles at 182, and got fifth place in regionals. Dalton Diacon, a junior who wrestles at 195, got fifth place in regionals. Kinley Harris, a senior, wrestles at 147 and is the teams sole female wrestler.
Five wrestlers advancing to state is a huge accomplishment and each has a chance to succeed. Along with these accomplishments, the whole team also received the honor of 3A OSSAA  Academic State Champions.
This year is a great opportunity for Inola Wrestling to make a huge statement.
