With that being said, yee-haw rap is just now beginning to blow up a in a way. With the most notable song being “ Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X., It even reached number 1 on billboard top 100 charts. He recently got a country “legend” in Billy Ray Cyrus to hop on a remix of the song as well.

Very well known rapper Lil Uzi Vert published a song with Lil Tracy on May 17, 2018 called “ Like a Farmer”. This song was more of a parody but was enjoyable for many listeners.

A prominent country artist by the name of Jason Aldean attempted to rap in his song “Dirt Road Anthem”. He is the first country artist to try this, the song was a hit so you can say it worked out.
