One of the hottest movies in 2018 so far is Black Panther. Why the motion picture is so well received is the action-packed explosions, the star-studded cast, and the message behind Black Panther.

Even before the release of Black Panther, the movie was breaking records. Black Panther broke the record for most pre-ordered tickets on Fandango. The movie Black Panther also grossed over $780 million worldwide in box offices and is getting closer to reaching $1 billion mark.

This is remarkable, especially for a movie that had a budget of $200 million. Black Panther also become the third-highest grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe release of all-time domestically, behind only “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, has worked with Michael B. Jordan numerous times. Coogler worked with Jordan on Creed and Fruitvale Station. It was a no brainer for Coogler to choose Jordan to be the antagonist for Black Panther.
